Summary: Isolation can do awful things to a person. At best, major discomfort. At worst, it can drive one insane. Very insane.

History: An isolated Greek island is home to one of the most depraved cannibals out there. Klaus Wortmann lost everything when he and his family got shipwrecked there. His son died, he accidentally killed his wife trying to convince her to eat the dead, and then he ate both afterwards. Now, anyone unfortunate enough to go to the island risks being killed and eaten horribly by the madman.

Notable Kills: Rips out an unborn baby from its mom's corpse and eats it. Do we...do we even want to go on after that?

Final Fate: Klaus' reign of terror is ended when he gets a pickaxe to the gut. As a final act of sadism, he chews on his own spilled intestines before expiring.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-This is a cannibal who will NOT hold back any punches. If his habits donapos;t make you want to skip breakfast, lunch, and dinner the next day, you may want to see a psychiatrist.

Trivia: -The films title is derived from a fancy word for ‘cannibal’ that got started with accounts of the Anthropophage, a fictional race of man-eaters first described by Greek historian Herodotus.

-It is said that during the premier of this film, the only people who didn't walk out in disgust were the producer and George Eastman, the guy who played Klaus.
